OUR SERVICES

Dental decay is a very common and preventable disease

Children develop dental anxiety for many reasons

Many children respond well to child friendly explanations and some patience and empathy

Dental decay is a very common and preventable disease.

Dental decay is a common but preventable disease

Fissure sealants are a method of preventing decay

Space maintainers are a type of interceptive orthodontics

Injuries to children’s teeth have some unique features which make them different to injures in adults

Although silver caps are an excellent approach to the management of decay and other problems with primary molars, some parents and children do not like the idea of silver crowns

Stainless Steel crowns have a long and reliable track record in the management of children’s teeth where there is deep decay, in molars with pulp therapy or where the enamel of the tooth is weak

When primary teeth become decayed, inflammatory changes may occur in the nerve of the tooth even though the tooth may not be painful

Front teeth are important for speech, eating, general social development and confidence

Tongue-tie (ankyloglossia) is a condition in which the bottom of the tongue is tethered to the floor of the mouth by a membrane (frenulum)

OUR POLICIES

Late cancellations
If you need to reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible. We ask for at least 3 working days.

Payments
We operate a transparent payment policy. Costs of our procedures are clearly outlined prior to treatment and if there are any changes you will be informed of why and what they are before we proceed. We do not offer payment plans. Payments are made on the day of treatment when you are attending the practice. Payment for the work done in the hospital is done 10 working days in advance of the treatment.

Insurance
We are not contracted to any insurance companies. If you have dental insurance, that is an independent contract between you and your insurer. We will provide you with receipts and stamp your insurance forms to enable you to claim. What is reimbursed by your insurer will be contained within your individual contract.

Non-refundable deposits
We take a non-refundable deposit to secure new assessment visits and treatment sessions including general anaesthetic.

Late for appointments
If you arrive late for the appointment, although we will do our best to accommodate you and your child, we may need to reschedule to be fair to other scheduled patients.
